What is Personal Data?
Personal data is defined by the General Data Protection Regulation (EU Regulation 2016/679), the “GDPR”, as any information relating to an identifiable person who can be directly or indirectly identified. Personal data covers obvious information such as your name and contact details, as well as identification numbers, electronic location data, and other online identifiers.

Under the GDPR, you have the right to be informed about our collection and use of your personal data; access the personal data we hold about you; have inaccurate or incomplete data rectified; ask us to delete your data; restrict or object to processing; and, in relevant circumstances, request data portability. We do not use your personal data for automated decision-making or profiling.
What Personal Data Do You Collect?
Emplicure may collect some or all of the following personal data, depending on your relationship with us: name, address, email address, telephone number, business name, job title, payment information, marketing preferences, and information about your business interests as they relate to Emplicure.
How Do You Use My Personal Data?
We will only use your personal data where there is a lawful basis to do so, including performance of a contract, your consent, or our legitimate business interests. We may use data to manage accounts, supply products and services, communicate with you, and provide information or marketing where you have opted in or where permitted by law. You may opt out at any time by contacting opt.out@emplicure.ai.
How Long Will You Keep My Personal Data?
We will not keep your personal data for any longer than necessary for the reason it was first collected. Data may be retained for up to 10 working days after a deletion request, up to 6 months after you cease to be an actual or potential partner, customer, or supplier, or until it is no longer relevant to the purposes set out in this policy.
How and Where Do You Store or Transfer My Personal Data?
We will only store or transfer your personal data within the European Economic Area, the EEA. To protect your data, we restrict access to individuals with a commercial need to know, use software security measures including firewalls, passwords, and anti-virus software, maintain physical security measures, and provide staff training.
Do You Share My Personal Data?
We will not share any of your personal data with third parties for any purpose, subject to limited circumstances where we may be legally required to share data, including in connection with legal proceedings, legal obligations, court orders, or instructions from a government authority.
How Can I Access My Personal Data?
You can ask for details of the personal data we hold about you and for a copy of it. This is known as a subject access request. Requests should be made in writing using the email or postal address provided below. We normally respond within ten working days and, in any case, no more than one month after receiving your request.
